Friday September 29th\, Wyoming Housing Network will partner with Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies to help feed families at two of WHN’s properties in Casper\, WY. Residents at Spring Hill and Juniper Ridge Apartments will have the opportunity to participate in a mobile food pantry while receiving free books for children. \nConsequences of food insecurity include: cognitive\, emotional\, mental and physical health\, a wide body of research indicates that these consequences follow children into the classroom\, often resulting in poor academic performance. By offering families at these properties access to a free food pantry while promoting reading is a step towards building a better community.
