NeighborWorks America Celebrates 40 years!
Wyoming Housing Network is one of nearly 250 network members of NeighborWorks America, a congressionally chartered national nonpartisan nonprofit that creates opportunities for people to improve their lives and strengthen their communities by providing access to homeownership and to safe and affordable rental housing.
Twenty eighteen marks the 40th Anniversary of NeighborWorks America! In the last five years, NeighborWorks organizations have generated more than $27.2 billion in reinvestment in communities across the country. Over the past 40 years, NeighborWorks and its network have assisted close to 8 million people through affordable housing and housing counseling.
NeighborWorks America training programs for community development professionals are well respected in the industry, and it continues to adapt them as it learns more from the network about what is effective on the ground. Through our ability to serve local communities and address local needs, network organizations like WHN are what make NeighborWorks America effective. Wyoming Housing Network is looking forward to our continued partnership with NeighborWorks America to make every Wyoming community a place of opportunity.
